Stage 1. Initial Meetings & Discovery

I participated in a series of meetings with colleagues and an external firm to gather insights and define the goals for the digital touchpoints within the Best Water Shop. These discussions focused on understanding user needs and setting the direction for the self checkout system, info terminals, and digital configurators. These initial meetings laid the groundwork for developing user personas and aligning the project with customer expectations.

Stage 2. Ideation & Conceptualization

We mapped out several user journey scenarios to visualize how customers would walk through the shop and interact with the different digital touchpoints. This collaborative process ensured that the features would enhance the overall customer experience.

Stage 3. Design Execution

Wireframing: I developed numerous wireframes for the various digital touchpoints, meticulously planning each interface element to ensure intuitive navigation and a seamless user experience. These wireframes served as the blueprint for the systems' structure, focusing on efficient customer interactions and easy access to information.

Prototyping: Using advanced tools in Adobe XD, I created interactive prototypes that allowed for realistic user interaction simulations. I conducted live demonstrations for stakeholders, providing a tangible sense of how the digital touchpoints would function.

UI Design: I crafted a visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for each touchpoint, selecting color schemes and typography that align with BWT’s brand and enhance usability. Feedback from colleagues and stakeholders was incorporated to refine the designs, ensuring they met both aesthetic and functional requirements.

Stage 4. User Testing & Iterations

I organized a series of user testing sessions, employing both qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the usability and effectiveness of each digital touchpoint. Feedback from these sessions informed several design iterations, leading to improved user engagement and a more streamlined customer experience.

Stage 5. Final Presentation and Documentation

I prepared a detailed presentation and comprehensive documentation that outlined the project’s goals, design rationale, user testing results, and the iterative design process. This documentation highlighted the potential of the Best Water Shop’s digital touchpoints to enhance customer interaction and satisfaction.
